This is a quick recipe to make. Tasty vegan cheese & tomato macaroni recipe that I would
like to share. This recipe is from a brilliant cook, a demi god of brilliance Donna my wife.
1 Tbsb vegan margarine
1/2 onion diced finely
1 Tbsp white flour
1 cup of non-dairy milk
1/2 cup nutritional yeast
250g/ 1/2 Ib penne pasta
Saute margarine and onion until the onion is soft
Remove from the cook top and pour the flour into the margarine and onion then create a
roux. Pour the non dairy milk into the roux and return to the cook top and stir
When the above ingredients have combined well, add the tomatoes then pour
the nutritional yeast and stir. Now your pasta should be ready, typically I use
penne which takes roughly 11 minutes to cook. Then pour the ready pasta into the
vegan cheese & tomato sauce then serve immediately
This nutritional yeast can be bought from local health stores.
